Life has its ups and downs, but I do believe we should be on the ‘up’ side most of the time. So, in that case, I have written below 10 easy ways that will help you stay positive or bounce back from an unfortunate time in your life.

1. Write a gratitude list

Research has shown that regularly being grateful can lead to less depression and stress, make greater progress towards achieving their goals and more energy with a positive outlook on life. There is always something to be grateful for.

Use this tool to raise your positive vibrations so you can gain positive results and keep a positive outlook. Each week write 10 things you are grateful for, make this a habit until you are grateful each day for everything!

This has helped me big time. not only to stay positive but to have an expectation that good things will happen. When you start to be grateful each day, you may not feel anything at first because you might be so used to focusing on what’s going wrong. But after a short time, you will feel the power of gratitude work.

There are books written on the subject one of my favourites is The Magic by Rhonda Byrne.

2. Think about what you’re thinking about

We have so many negative thoughts each day. This can lead to us magnifying the problem and attracting negative circumstances to us. begin to identify the thoughts you are having and when you notice yourself having negative thoughts, change them into positive thoughts and think about the outcome you wish for, so you can achieve the result you want.

 

3. Read positive thinking books

You can stay positive by reading positive thinking books that will inspire you and give you more ways of making practical changes to your life and to follow and achieve your dreams. Self-help books can help you improve your situation and expand your consciousness, leading you to create ideas and live fully.

 

4. Get yourself around positive people

The people you are around the most will determine how you think, feel and act. Choose to be around positive people that will support and lift your energy. Avoid people that drain you. Begin to notice how you feel around other people. Are they making you feel good or not?

 

5. Meditate

Meditating is a great way to connect your mind and spirit. You will experience peace, clarity and joy whilst allowing you to recharge. Meditation will give you many benefits including attracting all things positive.

 

6. Music

Music can help you to relax or even have fun. Music and dancing… even better! Moving around will energize you. Besides, who doesn’t find listening to good music a positive experience?

 

7. Make a change – help others

When you genuinely help other people this will make you feel good and have the realization that sometimes there are people in a worse situation than you are. Helping others will take the focus off your own problems and turns it into a positive situation.

8. Love

Learn to love everyone, everything and more importantly yourself. Without love there is no life, learning to love yourself and others will certainly begin to help you to not only stay positive but to also feel good.

 

9.  Create a ‘stay positive’ affirmation

By hearing the same thing over and over again you can become to believe it. Creating a positive affirmation such as “my day is amazing” a few times each morning you will begin to create an amazing day. The trick is to have a ‘feeling’ of how an amazing day feels like, visualize your day with all the great things that will happen!

10. Forgive

Forgiving others for what they have done wrong will free you from the negative energy you are holding on to. At the end of the day, you only live once so learn to forgive often and easily. Forgiveness promotes healing and transformation. Not to mention a great way to get back on your positive vibe.

    I really love these positive affirmations especially on gratitude showing love giving and forgiving its a great way to stay in a good mood. I would want to learn more on staying being positive all the time
